They aren't exactly normal
It's easy to judge
They made one mistake
How easy to hold a grudge
They smile at you, expecting
A grin given in return
You're not in the mood for friendship
Away you turn
Did you ever realize?
That a hand full of care
Once extended,
Always lingers there
And every time you refuse
To forgive, forget, move on
So sooner or later
That hand will be gone
Then what will you do?
Lying in the shadows
Without me to come with you
Wherever life goes
Where will you go?
Standing all alone?
You left a friendship
That could have really grown
So i'm so sorry
I wasn't good enough to be
The person who was there all along
Just that you couldn't see
