The Agenda

The Agenda...
The plan of the day......
Why does there have to be a stupid agenda all the time anyway?
What happened to spontaneity?
Oh and impulse....and maybe sitting back and doing nothing?
So I know this guy who's mother has pretty much planned his life out on a piece of paper. She's colour coded his days, weeks and months, filling then with the exact activity that he will be doing. Every single second has a purpose.
So we have all these seconds with purposes but shouldn't we also have those seconds which have no purpose at all? The seconds where you can sing a song with no words, tempo or music? The seconds where you don't even remember your name and you just sit back and well.....do nothing?
Nothing at all.....
Why does have every second need to have an agenda?
Why is always that every thing in life should be dumped in a box which has a readymade lock and key?
Is that the way we become successful people and good people? By planning every second of our lives? By thinking about every action before doing it?
We only live ONCE guys....
Seriously...we probably will never forget those seconds where we won awards or we aced science tests. And we will remember our birthdays..the day we bought our first house....first job...first car.
But daydreams? The feeling of contentment?
Never will we remember that.
Still............Those moments are important.
It's called balance.

Retort

SummerFallsWhatInTheWorld

This link will take you to my friend Summer Fall's blog where she has posted a reply to my earlier post about dogs and chickens. Remember?
Well anyway Summer Falls...this is Monica Rez's reply.
1. Yes I know there is no title to that post. Do you have a problem with it?
2. This is how the world works? If everyone followed that moral, the world would be in shambles right now. Would women be voting? No, because all those protestors would tell themselves that "This is how the world works" and never make a difference. Would there be an end to Hitler? No, because people would just tell themselves "This is how the World works."
So the world isn't always fair. Is that any excuse to not fight for what is right?
It is wrong that there is discrimination in animals. We don't make it right by saying that this is how the world works.
3. Am I asking the world to stop eating chicken? No I am not. If you read my article Summers, then you will see that I never asked the world to become vegetarian. I agree. It's impossible.
4. Distinguishing. Simple word. It doesn't matter whether it's between animals, plants or humans. To distinguish between animals is just as wrong as distinguishing between humans. Yes it is. It's quite simple. A white man and a black man. Both have feelings. Both have emotions. Right? Similarly we have a dog and a chicken. A furry animal and a feathery animal. Both have feelings. Both have emotions. Right?
5. Debating and saying something else in contrary just because I have to? That's a downright insult. You can't comment on my debating skills before I even reply.
6. An internet thing? Okay. I can live with that.
7. No personal feelings.
8. No I did not get pwned. To get pwned is when you don't know what to say. I have plenty to say.
Oh and a hippo sized thing. Why does that A and B role-play sound so familiar? Right. because you made me act like B.
But I am a bobo remember?

Holidays@!!!!!!!!

A holiday is like..an oasis in the middle of a stupid week.
A chocolate chip in a blueberry muffin.
A hit movie after 25 flops.
A high score after a series of tests.
A bottle of lemonade after running 17 laps.
Wow...that was deep.

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

This is just to wish y'all.....HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!!
Non vegetarians? All over the world. But..most of them stick to the basic regime..chicken, fish etc. And alot of these non-vegetarians have pets. They love these pets like siblings. So when some-one talks about eating a dog or eating a cat, it automatically becomes a huge issue.
I ask you one thing. How is a dog different from a chicken? How, for that matter is a human being any different from a chicken? We are all animals. Part of the same Eco-system. Don't we all deserve to live?
I'm not trying to convince every non-vegetarian out there to convert because it's impossible. The animal population would magnify 10-fold and the human population would go down down down. But why do we distinguish between animals?
It's like society has framed us in a certain way and we find it necessary to be in just that way. Chickens are OK to eat but dogs? No, that would be a crime. Fish is the perfect appetizer for a meal but to eat a human? That would be repulsive!
I love dogs. I wouldn't want then to be eaten. Or for that matter chickens. I'm a vegetarian. I don't even like it when people kill musquitos.
Distinguishing between animals is like distinguishing between humans. He is White. He has rights. She is Anglo. The rights slide into a ditch. They are atheists. Throw them out.
WHY?????????
Similiarly. That's a dog. OH! Call up BlueCross..the poor thing needs a home. That's a chicken. Guess what? We're going to have chicken for diner! YAY!!!
AGAIN...WHY?????

India

It's official.
Monica Rez is moving to...INDIA
Apparently my dad's Kerala article was such a big hit that his paper wanst him to do a whole section on Indian cuisine.
Bye Arizona. Good bye...
Moving is really hard. When you stay in a place for a while, it becomes a part of you. It's really hard to leave that part behind because then you know you have to join it with another place and sometimes you just aren't ready for that.
I don't know if I am.
I really dont know.
