Non vegetarians? All over the world. But..most of them stick to the basic regime..chicken, fish etc. And alot of these non-vegetarians have pets. They love these pets like siblings. So when some-one talks about eating a dog or eating a cat, it automatically becomes a huge issue.
I ask you one thing. How is a dog different from a chicken? How, for that matter is a human being any different from a chicken? We are all animals. Part of the same Eco-system. Don't we all deserve to live?
I'm not trying to convince every non-vegetarian out there to convert because it's impossible. The animal population would magnify 10-fold and the human population would go down down down. But why do we distinguish between animals?
It's like society has framed us in a certain way and we find it necessary to be in just that way. Chickens are OK to eat but dogs? No, that would be a crime. Fish is the perfect appetizer for a meal but to eat a human? That would be repulsive!
I love dogs. I wouldn't want then to be eaten. Or for that matter chickens. I'm a vegetarian. I don't even like it when people kill musquitos.
Distinguishing between animals is like distinguishing between humans. He is White. He has rights. She is Anglo. The rights slide into a ditch. They are atheists. Throw them out.
WHY?????????
Similiarly. That's a dog. OH! Call up BlueCross..the poor thing needs a home. That's a chicken. Guess what? We're going to have chicken for diner! YAY!!!
AGAIN...WHY?????
